Just noticed my passenger lower ball joint has excessive play. I replaced both control arms less than a year ago and I think it's ridiculous you have to replace the whole arm every time you need a ball joint. Our roads here are s*** so suspension parts are replaced often.
I have found ball joints online for around $25. Just wondering if anyone has had success pression new ones into the arms and if they've had problems with them down the road.
If every local parts store here can't get them and want you to get the arm, I'm thinking there might be a reason for it. That or it's a huge ripoff money grab.
