side skirt install

i was just wondering if someone could kinda explain how a set of side skirts are installed on a pro that came without any (lx) i took a look at them but it didnt really seem that there was anywhere on my car for all the s*** to clip into

if you have no clips i would try to use 3M double sided tape (the ultimate strong stuff)...but ive never done it...

ok thats what i thought...so theres nothing i can do about clipping it in the middle, just use tape there, then screw it in the front and rear at the wheel wells?

if you get the side skirts that come on a P5 or MSP, there 14 holes that need to be drilled on each side of your car. No double sided tape was used. I had mine installed by the body shop because I knew I would screw it up somehow.

what are there, push clips that go into the holes?

yea exactly, get some at youre hardware store, theyre cheaper than the mazda ones and prolly will work better, i did the install myself, took me a day, just be carefull when drilling, better be safe than sorry and measure twice, i was totally new to doin this and it turned out great

The file includes the templates and instructions to install the stock side skirts . I used this for my install

nope haven't gone to the body shop yet...i just wanted to get an idea first of what would actually be involved in doing it the right way
