side mirror ?

Has anybody popped off the painted part of the side mirror on the pro 5, I need to do a swap of the passanger side mirror and was hoping i could just swap the painted pieces instead of having to repaint. Is there a proper way of doing this without ******* s*** up?

just pop the mirror out. there are 4 clips on the inside, just push them out, and you're good to go

Will i have to remove the mirror glass to get to the tabs or can i work around it?

you have to remove the mirror glass. just gently pull on it, any ticking you hear is the gears in the power mirrors (it's ok). There is some adhesive, but it will give.
