side marker light?

ok i don't know if this is a repost but if it is im sorry. I have a 2002 protege ES and my driver side side marker is out. I have looked under my dash and steering column and inside my engine bay but cant figure out how to get to it. Do i just pull it out or what?

the side martker just slides horizontally (I forgot, but its one of two directions, either towards the front of the car or towards the back) Once you slid it, it will pop out. Thats what the rubber is there for...to prevent scratches when you will slide the sidemarker out.

did you mistype the model? i have a 2002 es as well and it dosnt have the side marker lights. ive allways wished it did and was thinking of installing some but didnt want some cheap aftermarket crap like ive seen installed on other peoples cars around town. they came factory on the mazdaspeed and the mp3 right?

what did they change the car in the middle of the year is that what you are refering to with the 2002.5? what was the last year they made the protege? also any pics of the different wheels? im not refering to mp3 or mazdaspeed versions either.

Last model year they made the Protege was 2003. Millenium Red Protege was 01-02, the blue color is 02.5-03.

i see said the blind man.....were those the only changes they maid? also isnt it weird they changed it for the last year they were gonna make it?

i like my rims (red car) better but im gonna have to get that side marker. little nervous about drilling into my cars body like that though.

i believe those were the only changes for the 02.5 and up. i wanna say that only the 02.5 and up also had the 'sport shift' but im not sure...

the whole thread was about the side marker lights, the freetempo was talking about clear bumper lights.
