side airbags

last night i was comming around a corner and i hit curb all my side airbags blew and my rear axle looks bent... is their any way i can get this covered on my warrenty? or do i have to go with my insurance on this one?

you're kidding right? you ran over a curb which is YOUR fault because it's driver error and you expect mazda to warranty this? you're funny!

call your insurance company and good luck!

even if its your fault, if your airbags blew your insurance company is going to do one of two things

1. fix your car and charge the deductible
2. total your car

Yeah dude..you caused this without a doubt..Even if it was an accident..Its definately not a warranty issue in no way, shape or form.

Now if there was zero damage to your car...and the bags just blew..oh yeah..they we would be having a chat with Mazda.

s*** I wish warranty covered accidents I'd be all over that s***. Seriously though if it was just side airbags the insurance company will fix it. What happened was when you hit the curb hard enough to bend some s*** in the rear it probably lifted the car just a little bit and the cars sensors suspected a rollover was possible

it wont total theres not the much damage so u will be ok. it might be werid going to them and tellin them what happened! good luck man

dont go into much detail, just tell them you ran up on a curve and they went of...end of story..either way, they are going to fix your car. if by any chance you have anything bent underneath, good luck because they just might total it.

What is it about this car and curbs? I've hit curbs three times in the last month and half. My fairly new winter rim on the passenger side rear has three good gouges. Ive been driving for 25 years and I dont thing Ive hit a curb more than a couple of times before I got my Speed3. The only thing I can think of is the car turns too quick. The last time it happen, I hit a granite curb and it did not sound good and I hope it did not bend my rear axle, I will take a look. If I did bend the axle, I would contact my car insurance. I think you should probably do the same.
