Not stepping down yet, like I said, this will take a minute. I have to replace petty pieces in the car and put it all back to stock. I have a good bit of demodding to do and rebuilding.
 
what you needed in the first place was a cheap good cond car to mod and try it out, instead of modding an almost brand new car and voiding your warranty.
 
so, um did you ever find out what's actually wrong with the car, or are we so far OT that it doesn't matter anymore?...

Are those WOT with all the plugs out?

From the manual:
Standard: 209psi / 14.7bar
Minimum: 146psi / 10.29bar (10.5kg/cm^2)
Minimum difference between cylinders: 24psi

WOT? Why would that matter for a compression check?

WOT is easy enough to do and it confirms that the cylinders can breathe freely from the open intake manifold. And yes, I meant to type maximum not minimum.

Did you run the comp test yet? Don't make any decisions until you do.

There's a chance your WB sensor is wrong, after all. Being as you SMELL fuel at idle yet you run a 15:1 AFR...it doesn't really add up.

And I hit 9.2:1 AFR under boost and don't smell gas.. Wait so that pic you posted a while back with the drippy out the tailpipe wasn't just condensation from running the air conditioner? I didn't think it was really fuel.

:'( poor MSM. I don't know if I would be able to stay in the game if the car was giving me that much trouble either. Now we're both without our Mazdas.

But on the bright side, you don't have to drive a Pontiac G5 coupe around for weeks :)

so sorry about your car. I guess it's too late to just put it back to stock if you're willing to give up. I hope if my modding ever goes far enough to cause reliability issues I can just unmod it a bit and keep the car around.

I don't really like the Monaro rear end. It just doesn't please me as much at the GTO. I do know, that they have a nice abundance of CF..

I've been speaking to a lot of the guys on the LS1GTO/LS2GTO forums to get the "low-down" so far the car has nothing super wrong with it other than the Miata can have bigger back wheels than the GTO. They can only get to 8.5 and possibly squeeze a 9. WTF, Pontiac? Also, I'm sure you guys ALL know of the tire wear situation where the strut tears the inside of the tire, well, only one shipment was damaged with that defect due to them being in the boat for so long. Something like that..
