Shutdown Procedures for Manual

Are you suppoed to shut down the engine in Neutral, then shift to 1st? or is it okay to just shut down the engine with it running in 1st Gear?

as long as you hold your foot on the clutch - keep the car in gear (any gear actually), turn it off and set the e-brake if you so desire. release the clutch after the engine completely kills. leaving the car in neutral is fine (then you dont have to hold down the clutch as you shut down) or shifting into gear post-run is ok as well.

you're welcome - the turbo works great! It's no Ferrari and I have no delusions as to such, but it's surely much faster. I'm aiming to have a clutch, motormounts and fuel pump installed sometime soon so I can up the pressure to 9 or 10psi. Maybe the MazdaSpeed flywheel but thats up for debate.
