How did you get your new shift boot to sit flush? Did you glue on that plastic peice from your old boot to the new one?
i did retain the plastic piece from the OEM boot. it wasnt glued onto the OEM very well and came off w/o any effort. getting it on the shifter was a different story until i read a suggestion from another forum member. what he (or she) did was wrap a rubber band around the shifter a couple times at the desired height. then drop the plastic piece on top, and drop your boot on top of that, and you have your royal flushness ^_^

it'll keep it in place well enough that only human intervention will mess it up. and not that this would affect anything, just so you dont have a brittle rubber band holding up the boot, check to replace it in 2 years.

as far as the nardi wheel, there are no noticable differences in the dimension and overall size and shape compared to the stock ES wheel. however, the leather is exemplary, even with the minor dings and scrapes, the overall wheel feels more "at home" in my hands. i know that sounds cliche but its probably the best i can describe it. now i just need to get off my lazy butt and work on a cruise control fix. (shrug)

wrong. the leather is different, it is hand stitched, and is of overall higher quality
Ditto. It is hard to tell in pictures, but yes, the stitching is much nicer and 'cleaner' and the leather is a lot nicer. Not to mention it is made in Italy
(rofl)
The thing I like the best is I removed my cruise control and didn't need the controls. The steering wheel removes that huge gap where the remotes were.

Nice work SLA. I like the special edition DX, and the visor mounted screens(I was thinking about doing that.

Ok where did you get those seat covers? Those look so much better than the DX seats.

Oh nice MSP cluster too :)
Its what came in the car. Just another reason for them to jack the price up on me when I bought it, "Oh this is a special edition thats going to cost extra" lol.

My dealer used Classic Soft Trim (classicsofttrim.com) for around $900 for seats and door panels financed into my payment for $15/month

Yeah I have that too and I condition at least every other week. It's unavoidable especially with black (dark graphite as it's called)

^^^Wow! I didnt think they made those. I guess they make anything if you ask for it though.

I got my DG Motorsports carbon fiber gauge surround the other day but it came cracked so now I have to send it back
