Are those 18in? I'm a big fan of 18in on Mazda5s, make it look very "proportionate", so to speak. Kind the 17in on a Mazda3...

Now, if the style in the pic comes on gunmetal color (not the 2 tones), even better :D

those look like 19" racing harts... try it out... my only opinion would be to clear coat the black to make is shine.. i'm not a fan of the matte finish on rims....

Yep - they're 19" Racing Harts. Good call!

I haven't had a chance to install yet, and probably will wait until next year anyways since it'll be snowing here soon! Plus, I have winter tires/rims for that haha

I don't know why, but I love the matte finish on the rims - seems like everyone has the gloss black, so it's nice to have something a little more unique. If I have time before the winter wheels go on, I'll take a pic of these on the car.

Cheers!

Hey, I think they look soooo sharp and I like the matt black! Hope you can put them on. I'm a southern ontarian too with a silver 2008 Mazda and if I see a silver Mazda with those 19" I'll know who it is.
Off the wall question, what kind of winter tires do you recommend?

Hey DoubleT - where about are you located?

After driving the few winter months with the stock Toyos, I noticed how crazy it got. I'm no 'lead-foot' or 'drift-king', but definitely had issues when it came to turns and stopping in the snow/slippery roads.

I picked up a set of Hankook Icebear W300 Winter Tires with steelies. Tire size is the same as the stock 16's that came with my '07. They're definitely not the best winter tire out there, but are MUCH better than the stock Toyos (night and day difference). Therefore, I think pretty much any winter tire should do the trick. Look for some deals and then research the tires. The Hankooks were ranked a 'middle' tire on average, but definitely out perform the Toyos.

Happy Driving!

I have the hankook winter I-pike with steelies.. got it from my dealer.
The hankook felt better during it's 2nd winter. Either this is normal (rubber has worn a bit) or maybe it's just my driving having adjusted to the handling of the vehicle with the hankook tire.

right now I'm stuck with the hankook for several winters more. As you can see the threads do not wear that easy on these winter tires.

I have the whole set. They were actually on my DD car for the summer, but switched over to stock rims/tires for the upcoming winter.

The tires are 225/35/19 (nitto 555) - In the spring, I had tossed it on the 5's rear hub and it fit fine without rubbing - but I'll have to wait and see with all 4. The offset is quite low, so it might require some fender-flaring.

Just wanted to know if you guys thought it'd look good. Either way, we'll wait until spring and give it a go!

Hi there, M5 owner from Mississauga Ontario here.
