Should I go with the iTouring or the S Sport?

There is only a 8hp difference, and the foglights are the only notible thing I can see from the pictures. Is there any other big differences between them? I plan on doing intake and exhaust and such.

There is no hp difference. You get Bose Speakers, leather supports, and a security system.

Between a 3i and a 3s? Yes there is, the 3i comes with the 2.0 instead of a 2.3 in the 3s.

Only 8HP difference which is negligible, but the 2.3 in the S has 15 more lb-ft of torque. This is a significant difference. The 3s is considerably quicker than a 3i.

Although my advice is to not nitpick about the differences between a 3i and a 3s and just step up to the Mazdaspeed3.

Seriously, try to afford the S Touring. Why? The S touring has side upper air bags. The 3 side crash test results without the air bags are horrible.

If you cannot get the S Touring, at least get the S Sport. It has ABS while the i Touring does not.
