I don't know how much they weigh.

I've really been craving some black rims since I saw jsgolfer's car. And these have a glossy finish. I think they would look pretty sweet.

slamprotege5 do you have a pic of your rims? I would like to see them.

I am not saying don't get those, but there are so many options in that price range. discount tire, in my opinion only, doesn't know what they are talking about. when i called them, they recommended a +40 on an 18" for P5s'. Keep looking, ADR Sokudos also come in shiny gunmetal, but have a polished lip also. Just something for you to think about. Hope this helps

the pictures along the top once in a wheel section, you can scroll and look at diff finishes. note, tho, only buy from a rota dealer that has the rotas with the protege axle centers. TO put rotas on, you have to have the centers machined out to make room for your axles. Spoolin sells rims machined out already, as well as AutoRND

that is correct. www.machiii.net sells 18" subzeros with tires for under $1,000, but the center bore is not drilled out far enough. plus they are hard to find, i was only able to find some in bronze and white.
Equinox, didnt you just hammer down the axle hub to make yours fit??

Forgive my ignorance, but if I wanted to drop my car with 17" wheels, what would the offset need to be?

I would most likely drop it with the Eibach Kit.
