Ive driven cars with the B&M and the kartboy and the B&M is FAR FAR superior...

Shifts are shorter, and much easier(the kartboy is very notchy and hard to get into gear)
Also the B&M loweres the shift knob height only a little bit. The kartboy is a lot lower and I found myself leaning down to reach.

Cant comment on the TWM though(shrug)

i have the kartboy and i love it. it was a little notchy at first, but it broke in after about a week. that and their shifter bushings take away the slop from the stock rubber ones.

I also like my Kartboy. The owner is a Protege lover just like us, and the customer service is top-notch. To be honest, there's probably not too much difference between the three. Any of 'em will make a nice difference, I just picked KB because of the cool shirts. :)

I like my kartboy but the trow is not as short as I thought! it seems about the same as my stock one

I am wondering about this my damn self. I heard that TWM had the shortest throw, I am a fan of kartboy's customer service though.

b&m short shifter is the best. it's suppose to be the best quality. not too short in length and smooth short throws.(drive)

B&M is the only one of all of them not to reuse the stock plastic housing. it comes with its own metal one. and it has the most solid feel during shifting - i have tried all 3, and i have B&M in my car with kartboy bushings.

Anyone tried the OBX one? I bet its a piece....

Im leaning toward the kartboy or B&M myself.. but not for a while.. gotta get this SAFCII on 1st

Hmmm that makes me want the B&M which I hadnt even been considering before. Are there any other shifters that replace the housing? Could I upgrade the housing and use a TWM?

as fas as i know B&M is the only one. i dont think you can get the housing separately. just get B&M, man, its worth the extra cash.

i have the kartboy and i think it is very good. the B&M i've also tried before and it is very nice also. the material of the B&M is very good and the craftsmenship is superior. the throw is NOT shorter, but short enough. shifting is more crisp since it has its own pivot ball surround thingy (dont know what its called). and now that the price is lower (protegegarage), i would definitely go with the B&M. when i got the kartboy, B&M was like 135 or something. either one you choose, they are all good.

i have the K.B. do u guys think its worth buying the b&m and selling the K.B.
i really like the k.b. cuz the shift knob sits lower but the shifts r too notchy

tried all three, did a lot of reasearch on all, in the end bought b&m and it hasnt dissapointed me for a second.

throws are short, shifts are percise, metal housing eliminates any play, and Kartboy bushings stiffen everything up even more.

very happy with my b&m.
