Anyone know the size of the exhaust on the Madaspeed3??
Is it 3"??
Cause I recently bought a 3" diameter QTP and I heard it was the wrong size!!
true or not?
someone can tell me?

thanks guys!!

It looks like 2.5, and its Purrrdy, When mine was jacked up I was checkin it out until I got kicked out of the bay area, lol opps. I was suprised in how nice it looked, it seemed very smooth flowing. But I doubt its 3 just because that would be too sweet, but the size rating for a turbo car with our power calls for a 3in exhaust....so you never know. You could jack it up and break out the tape measure! Im not sure what a QTP is though? Test Pipe? But with the exhaust it is better to be bigger, just not bigger in the middle then small then bigger, doing that will create flow stagnation, you want the same size all the way through for velocity. A bigger muffler would be fine though to relieve backpressure. YOU DONT WANT THAT!!!

My brother has one of those cut-outs on his supercharged 1500 chevy. Man does it kick as*. It is crazy loud and sounds awesome. I did ask a shop down the street that specializes in turbo supras. They said it is not really needed and that it wouldnt make a real difference.

see the video with the WRX...

I couldnt imagine how loud that would be......Freeway rides would be a bummer, what about heat on the floor boards? Im guessing 1 reason it did so well with the wrx is a little boost creep? Ive never seen one of those things before though.................Oh and I think they have to tighten that 1 bolt on the suby aswell

stock is like roughly 2 1/4 inches. i got the outside diameter today randomly and it was slighty bigger than that. 3" is definitely the way to go for sure.

meh.. I drove a turbo 4-cyl car with a 3" downpipe and cutout and a T3 turbo.. with the cutout open it was quite a bit quieter than my Protege5.

turbos make things quiet :)
