I am looking for a short antenna for the Mazda2. The latest information is that the CX7 will fit, as well as the Mazda3 and Acura RDX/Honda S2000. Is this information correct? The Acura RDX can be bought for about $9.

The CX7's will fit. You can also get a stubby from CorkSport which is shorter and made just for the 2.

I have a CX-7 and it fits well. I think it was mentioned somewhere that the mazda3 shorty fits even better, and is a little shorter. The CS is the shortest, and has a good look to it. I don't think you can go wrong with any of those options...

I have the CX7 one as well works great.

If you don't live near the radio stations you like...keep in mind the sorter the antenna is, the worse your reception will be. I've tried multiple antennas and currently have the stock one in place. It also comes in handy on game day to hang your team's flag.

This is true, I lose good reception in parts of my city. I don't listen to the radio ever though, so I don't care.

For those few times that I tune to AM for traffic or weather the CX7 is just fine. Even for FM Jazz or Classical rare stints it works fine.

I m going for CS my self, the long antenna is in the way of the Thule Carrier. I did the same thing on the Focus back in the day, worked great and looked good. The size of the MZ2 makes it look like a remote control car with this long antenna

Since my favorite radio station is no more...my stocker is off again. I use a 2" aluminum unit from torque solutions which mainly makes good bushings and mounts but also happens to make a nice tiny antenna for $10.

^ I actually thought about that but thats as far as I went. Reception can't be too much worse than with the 2"er.
