Springs right keep the stock onesDim said:Oh, so you're NOT lowering the car? That kit will lower it. If you're not lowering, you might as well keep what you have.
So you're riding on stock springs and HP shocks? Interesting.ZG77_OzZ said:All righty got the HP nice system car rides better then brand new.......
That's cool. I wouldn't mind upgrading, but the labour costs are so high!Drake13 said:Ya i think mine are in the need of getting replaced. I got 108k on my 02. All highway miles but if and when i do replace i'm getting ksport's adjustiable coilovers

This makes me want to get just the springs and get rid of the wheel gap.rednecks_r_us said:I'm over 111 thousand miles on stock struts and eibach springs.
Yeah, I have that sound too sometimes. I think it's "normal."TurboTodd said:168,xxx miles on stock struts and springs.. Left front strut is "grunting" over harsh bumps, but car still rides like new (other than the sound.)
I ran stock struts with lowering springs & a 22mm rear sway with stock endlinks for about 2 years before switching to the illuminas with no issues at all. Still running stock endlinks now. Have broken nothing & no annoying noises but if the oil leaketh then that's a different issue. Mine were still dry but the bumps were seeming to be bigger & rougher right before replacing.ProtoType5 said:The OEM replacements are KYB GR2s see here http://www.kyb.com/products/detail.php?ID=1
They are the "direct" replacements so they are really not an "upgrade", although they are "gas" filled shocks IDK...For just about the same amount of money you can get the Tokiko blues and they are a bit more "performance" oriented and are pretty much a "direct" replacement for the MSP and MP3 suspensions....
The only reason I will be getting Blues or Illuminas is for the reinforced endlink brackets, so I can upgrade my swaybar without worrying about destroying my strut...
BTW...I'm also at 67,000 miles with Espelir springs and one has begun losing some of the oil, so my time is coming up fast to do the replacement.
