shift shock

I posted here last year that my 2004 Mazda 3 gt was having shift shock when its cold ( first thing in the morning). It was still under warranty and the dealer did the tcm update and a fliud flush. My wife drives the car 99% of the time . Now I starting driving it fulltime and I noticed the shift shock back. It goes away after a couple of blocks. Anyway my question is there anything I could do myself fix this problem or should I just keep on driving and not worry about it. Thanks
