Shaking/Vibration when in D/R while holding the brake…Normal?

Hi guys.

I have an issue I need some help with. I have a 2019 Mazda 2 with 10 000kms on it.

The car idles normal in P/N, however, when pressing the break in D/R, I get a very annoying and strong vibration from the car. This makes traffic stops unbearable. The idle drops to 500rpm when this happens and stays there until I release the brake. I've found that turning on the lights/AC kicks the rpm to 600/700 which smoothes everything out.

I've taken it in to the dealers, no check engine light, no codes & engine mounts are good. They've also advised that this is normal behaviour.

Anyone else experienced this or have any pointers?

Many thanks

I have also noticed this issue with my 2015 mazda2 / demio DJ JDM spec with 30 000 km on it.

Although mine doesnt vibrate that much thats makes it unbearable , i do feel a wee bit little more vibrations compared to when on P / N . Also no codes nothing , the car drives like a champ too.

Still dont know if this is normal behavior or not.
