Several Questions

Question 1:
I will start with what color should I paint my P5 brake calipers. I have a silver P5 with black rims and tint as seen in profile pic. Sorry I can't give a better one as I am at work. Should I "pop" it off by going red or mellow it out with black or a sliver?

Question 2:
I have looked for a How-To for installing a cat-back system and found nothing. Is one hidden somewhere? Also I want to know if anyone has a sound clip from a P5 with Greddy Evo2. Didn't hear one on the exhaust tread, doesn't seem to be a popular item but no complaints.

Question 3:
Under medium braking I get significant vibration in my steering wheel. I think my rotors are warped a small bit. This does not happen under soft braking.

Thanks in advance for advice,

1: red is overplayed, but still the best choice. I'd go black to match the rims as a #2.

2: cat back is a pretty easy install. Just get under the car and find the bolts and hangers.

3: rotors = 30 bucks and are a good starting point if your car is well aligned.

Still would like more opinions...
As to the brakes, if I get new rotors they will either be new OEM or cross drilled. Need new pads too.

i had a friend get slotted rotors, but they make a clicking sound as the air is forced from the slots. Hella annoying.

I wasn't clear on the rotors thing. I was saying that a 30 buck rotor was a cheap diagnostic tool, especially if they are close to being due for replacement.

I am looking at drilled not slotted rotors. Only if I can get them at a better price then what PG offers them at.

I painted my calipers red with black 18" racing hart c5 rims on a yellow p5. I like the red. Black is choice 2.

Cat back install should be pretty much unbolt, followed by rebolt, so long as you get one made for our car.

Let me know (post results) if you get the cross drilled b/c I was thinking about the same thing.

1. go with black, i have red but it goes with my car better, black will looks best with your set up.

2. there really isnt a how to on doing a cat back exhaust system because it is really just nuts and bolts plus 2 gaskets.

3. they are prolly warped, good idea to get that checked sooner rather than later.

If I go with black then the calipers kinda fade into my rims. I figured that was why there was no how-to. I will replace my rotors when I change my brakes which is pretty soon. I will also paint my calipers at the same time. Exhaust is still kinda iffy though. Magnaflow or Megan Racing or Greddy Evo2... I want to say Magnaflow but I haven't actually heard the Evo2 yet.

You can get this awesome like lime green color called grabber green. It has alot of pop and isnt ghetto looking.
I would go silver

#2 its a bolt on

#3 change your rotors.

You're in luck, my friend. I tried finding sound clips of the GReddy EVO2 for my P5 too without any luck. So I made some myself.

This is with an AEM intake and the GReddy catback EVO2. Though most of the noise is the intake.

I bought my GReddy EVO2 catback about 1-1/2 years ago and one other member on the boards had it and reccomended it saying it was nice and didn't drone at highway speeds. Well, that cat was full of dookie. I posted it drones like crazy and he replied saying he didn't notice it because he has a huge stereo in his car. Sweet. I've had a few Civics before, all with different styles of exhaust and this GReddy was the loudest. At least the in cabin volumes were loud. But I really barely notice it anymore. It almost seems like it's settled down in volume, if that's even possible. Though I do like the way it looks, the quality, fitment and tone of the exhaust, I was a little upset at how loudly it droned on the highway when I first got it. If you want something quiet I would go with a Racing Beat or something else. Just being honest with ya...

Hope this helps!
