Hey guys...need a HUGE fave.
A new member to the site (Troy aka gen3xmx5)...but an extremely good friend of mine from Montgomery (he's stationed w/me & is currently deployed w/me here)....owns a brand new Velocity Red LE and a 1st gen Miata (I think a few ppl met him @ last years ZZL event).
Anyway, he would like to meet up w/us for more events etc....I mentioned to him about the American Le Mans & ZZL (which he has already signed up for along w/his wife)...The biggest issue is finding a place for him to stay. He'd like to get a HOTEL room close by to everyone, so he can enjoy the drive out w/us. And also...we both would like to know what's good w/tickets for the Le Mans on Saturday?
Please get back to me asap. I'm going to link him to this thread so he can join in.

Of course...word on the street is camping out around Turn 5??? I'm down for that too.
And with the date for this...I'll definitely HAVE to pick up the Miata as SOON as I get home...Oct 1 is my pick up deadline. (ughdance)

Another bump for phil? I don't know the area well enough.
Just got back from ZZL - Boston. It was an absolute blast. The timed auto-x is being done on the Mazdaspeed6. It a lot of fun, but plowed pretty bad in some spots (probably had something to do w/ the fact that it was wet out). I managed 4th time of the hour from 10 - 11
. Also drove the MZ5, 3, and CX 7, and got a run on a Miata on their performance course (lots of straights w/ nice sweepers). Lets just say I still want one........
