Hello everyonse, i need help...
I am in extreme need of new headlights for my p5, but i dont wanna spend the p5 cash on them

i keep seeing sedan lights for more than half the price, and i know its possible to fit them on my car

i'm now looking for a guide of some sort to teach/show me how to do this

it's be a real big help if someone could enlighten me

The sedan light's will fit no problem just have to rewire alil because they use just one bulb for low and high beam.Unlike our p5 light's that use two bulb's.Ebay would be your best bet to get some new and at a good price sedan light's.

mybe u could post some pics?

whats the rewiring?

Well to tell you the truth I wouldn't even rewire it I would do it the easy way.If you have a hid kit in your car already just get a h4 bulb to go with your ballast and just install that in the sedan light and walla.

looks like i gotta get hids

...
but what about for those of us who dont have hids?

it almost sound like i can hook um up and run just low beams (or just high beams)?

also...
im a total newb when it comes to hid's...
could someone quite possibly post up a link to the exact kit i would need to buy? i'd buy it this week

there's tons of part outs. you might be able to find cheap p5 headlights and not have to worry about rewiring

true, i have been looking around...
no luck so far

the p5 partouts i've seen have been hit in the front -_-

Step one. Buy sedan light's off ebay bake them pull the lense off.
Step two. bake your p5 headlight's pull the lense off.
Step three swap lense's

its the housing itself that broken...
theres nothing but that rubber thing holding the bulbs in place
which, i think is causing the bulbs to heat faster because they are at a weird angle
thus, causing my second light bulb in a couple months to burn out...
maybe i'll figure something out

Just get hid's alot of ppl have been going threw bulb's as of late. When I got my p5 I bought my ddm kit a week later it's been great for these past two years knock on wood. And the rubber boot is holding my hid bulb's in place so I don't think that has anything to do with it. Just get a hid kit.

i think the p5 lights look way better but if you are on a budget just get the sedan lights and that ddm tuner hid kit for $45 shipped... or you can find light housings on ebay that even come with hid kits for $100-200 ebay is the place to hit up for cheap light housings. i bought a set of sedan lights which bolted right in a few months ago and put the ddm kit in at the same time and love it i just don't have high beams

sorry to thread jack but will p5 lights fit a 2000 sedan? i like the all in one seamless look. the seperate t/s bothers me (im aware of the wiring id have to do)
