SE-R vs MP5, Round 2:D

Handling...that's what coilovers are for :)

Unfortunately, it is going to make than just a set of coil-overs to make a rear axle beam work right...

I don't get it.... what are you guys all arguing about? Both cars have there good points. Its been said a hundred times, it all depends what you look for in a car, acceleration, handling, looks, etc. Since we're mostly import car guys, shouldn't we gang up on some Z28 and Mustang owners??

Enjoy your rides, I think they're all great!!

(werd)....everyone's car is different in their own ways....if I had the money I'd buy one of every car just to drive around and enjoy....everyone here has a common love for cars, so why do we all bash? Enjoy what you have and admire what others have, but never be jealous or ignorant to the point of being down right mean.....

Fine...anti-roll bars too....

It handles VERY well for what it is...HLSD makes a world of diffrence...but true..stock suspension COULD be better...

But coilovers make the suspension VERY good...throw in anti-roll bars, and you're even better...though for the b15...the rear rates HAVE to be larger than the front to compensate for that axle beam.

HEY GXL!!!

It's not how fast you go, it's how WELL you go fast!

i completely agree! thats why when people ask me is your car fast i simply reply, "when i drive it, it is!"

this is kinda off subject but.....
tonight some punk kid in his daddy's GTP decided he could take me going into a turn from a stop light. well i had to prove him wrong, and i did!

everyone has their opinions on what car they would be best fit for, and as well people have different opinions on how a car should look. But in the end, we are all enthuisiasts at heart no matter what car we drive, or where we drive. driving should be fun, and one should be happy doing it, especially in a car they love!

From an angle like that the Spec V looks MUCH nicer, more agressive...I don't like that wing though, it cries out rice rice :p

the normal protege is meh looking same with the sentra...the P5 however is a beauty :)

I want the M Coupe....I just love that car....

and BTW....thank you for keeping this thread civil.

(stash)

Hey Sir Nuke, I drool over the M Coupe too. I like how it's so compact yet has such a wide, muscular stance. I'd like our P5 to have our stance too. That'd be very nice. Concerning the M3, I just recently notice this: The front air dam of the M3 is very similar to our P5. The only difference is the shape of the fog lights. Our P5's fog lights are round, while the M3's lights are more oval. Imagine if someone actually does a conversion and change our headlights to the 3-series headlights. Hey, a budget M3 Hatchback!

And Concerning Hondas, true, the SI we get is just ridiculous. As long as Honda profits from it, they're happy. Honda has the habit of doing just enough to get people here in the U.S. to buy they're vehicles. However, if you just get a taste of their Type-R's, you'd probably understand what I mean when it comes to excellent engineering. Also remember, numbers only tell a part of the story. The whole feel of driving a vehicle leaves a lasting impression. Sure, the Spec-V or even the Neon SR-T, might have awesome numbers, but think about it. Would you really feel great with people seeing you behind the wheel of a Spec-V or SR-T, or would you rather be seen in a Bimmer? Status means a lot. Just for information purposes, according to the new issue of Automobile Magazine, the M5 did not win in the 0-60, quarter mile, braking distance, skidpad, or anything else, when compared to the Audi RS6, Jaguar S-Type R, and Mercedes E55 AMG. However, it was picked by the editors for the best sports sedan. Numbers aren't everything. It's feelings......nothing more than feelings....

Very good point, but I'll take an Audi S6 over M5 anytime of the day!

Quattro All Wheel Drive...

Audi Huh?

I'll take that bet and pit you up against an M3. When we are able to afford them, lets meet up someday! (show you the meaning of M POWER! lol)

personally, i want an RX-7 or a Porsche 911 GT2. (GT2 being first pick, then RX-7 then M3!)

Don't you know that RS6 has more horsepower than a M5!!! You sure you want to go through with that bet?:D

Don't forget Quattro All Wheel Drive! That along will give the Audi the advantage over the BMW - no to mention chipping it.:D

quattro nothing!

i disagree. 4wd Drive makes it heavier, plus the car is heavier then the BMW. M Power man whats wrong with you? lol

totally agree with the part about a car with great power but bad control is useless~~~~
if a car has like 300 horsepower but bad control....it's impossible to manage that power
but if a car like the p5, mp3 have great control...it's more fun to drive and feel safe~~ and you trust the car~~ and once you trust your lovely car..and then we can produce unimaginable power~~~~
