im doing the front lip, sideskirts, rear lip and Thule wind screen all in collage.... that should make it uniform enough and make it look planned, rather than random

Ah. I admired the pics over a bowl of Luck Charms this morning. It was way to early to engage in any of that high-falutin' readin' stuff...

That said, carry on. I think it will look awesome.

i suggested putting krink on the bumper and skirts of a MSP and got torn a new one. so now its my turn.

why would you do that to a front and rear 03.5 lip. why oh why. id say about 10% cool (ill give you that much) but 60% silly and 30% giant advertisement.

i look at it more as art.

im composing symbols/designs all together to make one bigger picture/design. its a piece of art for me.. every piece has its own character. the colors are organized in certain arrangements and designs in certain spots... thats how i look at it anyways. i look at this as just another art project that i would have done when i was in art college.

every piece will have a different theme.

skateboarding is the front, snowboaring , tattoos, and music will take up the other sides of the car... just shows things im interested in... its a personal statement i guess

but in the end has NOTHING to do with advertising.. hell 3/4 of the stickers, you can't even read what they are as most of them are half covered or partly showing

i like the collage idea and i can def agree that when its done right it is SICK!

IMO though it looks........ just out there on that color car, and no offense to ur stance, i have seen it with the old bbs' you used to have, iv only seen this "style" on major SLAMMED cars.

But who knows it might look good when its all done. i was actually thinking of doing something simialar with my dg lip, and rock shield on the hood........a type of plaid to match my interior(crazy)

ill post a cool pick to sway the opposition

what do you mean? the whole trunk??? i want it to look uniform and organized, as ironic as that sounds.

i dont want any cf on this car... no hood and/or trunk since i have soooo much on the yellow car. want something different and sick of the cf. dont want the whole car broken up into pieces.. want it all uniform and planned out. how do you mean exactly with the trunk being blacked out??? as the same look with cf?

yes, i cant get much more slammed then i was with the BBS in the end (you might have only saw when i had springs and not the coilovers on at the end of the summer) since the tires were rubbing almost constantly. you could barely fit your credit card between them.

this stance will be the same. ive actually bought BC coilovers to lower it a little bit more if possible and play with camber more then the KWs allowed me to

i was just busting you on the ad thing, its not like you have one giant AEM sticker on your windshield. i get the artistic statement too, its just not my cup of tea. of all the pics i think the white car (im having a brain fart here - lexus?) looked good, but the camo trunk lid, the s2k, and the MSP (at this point) dont look so great. if you get like triple the sticker coverage i might change my mind a little, but i was never big on skate culture and thats all i think of when i see this.
i think the thing that makes the white one different for me is the stickers are all different sizes and have more of a graf feel, and i dig that... kind of like a wall getting covered by decades of work. the s2k trunk lid is all rectangle stickers (boring), and the MSP right now with mostly skateboard stuff looks like a 16 year olds second deck. just not feeling it.

id probably lose, DFW/socal/etc have a lot more members than the NYC crowd, and i think the krink is much more of a regional thing than the sticker collage.
