Installing was a piece of cake but, with as long as it took them to get it ready, they could have made the panel gaps a little tighter, but I'm not Really complaining, I will have pictures up as soon as I can find that damn cable!(confused) Also on the note of the finish, it matches very closely with the dash, the texture is almost perfect.

Here it is.

Yeah well the Standard Audio sucks so bad, it hurt my ears because it was too freaking bright and tinny, so I had to turn down the Treble which made CD's sound like FM. And I like the way it looks, perfectly fine. And the Surround Sound, HD radio, EQ adjustments, WMA playback, The sound staging that this Unit provides are all worth it. Of course I could have gone with something like, Cleansweep or something from Rockford Fosgate, but thats just more work than I have the time for and willing to do.

When you say the kit matches the dash almost perfect, which part of the dash does it match? The CX-7 has like 5 different kinds of plastics/colors going on.

What store did you pick your dash kit up from? Scosche website gives dealers, i went to like 5 near me, no one had it. I even searched their online dealer, and there wasn't any available.

That pic of the Volvo does not look like an S80 V8, it looks more like an S40. Where are the dual exhausts?
I tested a V8 S80, best thing about it is the satisfying exhaust note, especially leaving it in 2nd and in the 4,500 to 5,500 rpm range, you keep flooring it by keeping the rpm in that range and it sounds krazy. I noticed with the volvo version of the manual style shifter, you can mimick a rev matching sound with that 4.4 motor from 1st to second by hammering the throttle from part throttle at around 5,500 rpm and shifting to 2nd, the salesman seemed confused. Cars a true sleeper but too expensive and why not get a hot lookin GS 350 for the same price.

Yeah its the S80, they're all new for 2008, I had an S40, the rears tails are much bigger, but the New 08's will have tail lights similar to the new S80.

If you look hard enough, you can see the dual exhaust.
Lexus doesn't appeal to me, and I got a greatttt deal on the S80.
And as for the dash kit, I went to my local audio shop, and they ordered one for me, they do excellent work.

Looks bad. I would never do that to my ride.
agreed. I would have gone the speaker route first. In my wifes 6i the radio sounded like s***. I replaced all the speakers with new Pioneer 6x9's and it sounds damn good. And still has the nice stock appearance.(first)

I did go the "Speaker route" First, I hated the way the stock radio sounded, So I changed it, the look of the old unit was nothing special imo.

Have you taken any more pictures of the kit? The dim light and poor flash do nothing to show it off. I am hoping this is why it does not appear OEM quality and a better picture might show this.
