SCC did not have the msp on the top 100 cars list.

I don't understand why the MSP was not in the top 100. After all it was because of an artical in the past that I got the msp. (bang) (huh) What do you guys think.

u talkin about the new issue with the project sti painted flat black? i havent read the whole mag yet so i havent come across what ur talkin about...but discontinued production line comes to mind......the msp was only out for a year so i assume they aint botherin to show it ?!?!?

dident they say that msp is the new benchmakr for FWD cars over the type R? well the why the hell is the type R in there and not the MSP

that STI looks hott flatblack and no wing.

aslo quit bitching about every little tiny thing thats wrong with the car and maby we will get some respect form these mag. co. it seames like theres more "bad" threads on this site about things wrong with the car than good.

well, i think they did a decent job. The 88-89 GTX AWD is there, the 323 Famillia GTR is there, both gens of miata, Escort RS Cosworth, the mexican escort, RS200, Lotus Elise and RX-7. I dont know how much hyundai paid to get the tiburon in there, they say it does everything well, doesnt seems quite accurate at all considering it is below par in every aspect....So the Mazdaspeed didnt make it, maybe it should have but other than the handling and looks, stock the MS isnt anything I would put on the list, it didnt change the way people look at cars etc. it is for "those who know" kinda deal lol (second)

i wonder how much money mitsubishi paid SCC to have the EVO as the #1 car.
(seeing as how much s*** mitsubishi is in...)

ya wtf was that, i swear the gave it to them for getting free evos to play with! Whats so good about the EVo slow? It cannot even win in WRC

I don't think the MSP had enough of an impact in sport compact to make the list. It was only produced for 1 year. As for the Tiburon, well, maybe it's just because Hyundai is making a turnaround? Who knows?

Who cares anyway? It's just magazine. We all know, on a personal preference basis, where the MSP ranks within that list. And if you put it number 1 then you really are not a car person.

Who gives a ****? I know what I own, and I don't need a ******* magazine to tell me how good it is. They are all about free products. If you give them free s***, you'll get mentioned, if you don't you won't...period.

The Evo being the #1 car doesn't surprise me. Those SCC guys have a hard on for that car, they are constantly praising it. I think it's great, but not necessarily #1.

Word. Just like I said in the last gajillion threads about this.

Sport Compact Car was a big reason I purchased the MSP over other cars. They even named it on their Eight Great Rides issue last year. They placed the Nissan SE-R Spec V like 29th. That was actually a car I was considering because I already owned an SE-R, but the MSP blows that car away. They had to have just overlooked the MSP.

I second that! (yes)

The exclusion of the MSP from that list makes no sense. Especially from a performance standpoint. Particularly when in SCC itself they rated the MSP as better than the Mini, Spec V, et al...and claimed that the MSP was better than the ITR(which it is). Something doesnt add up...maybe there is a grudge against the MSP community or maybe a MSPer stole money and/or a woman from one of the editors at SCC..;).cuz the MSP should be in the top quarter of that list..no fuggin doubt.!!! :) Sux cuz I actually like the mag since they are performance enthusiasts...but after this dunno..
