The movie kicked ass! Yoda is AWESOME!

Probably see it this weekend. Really looking forward to it, but I'm leaving for vacation at 7 tomorrow morning.
A few years back one of the local theatres did the trilogy for an afternoon. It was pretty cool. 6+ hours (with breaks) of Star Wars.
Hmm, maybe all 6 some day. 10 hours of Star Wars? WHEW! That'll be a long one!

even better yet....down the road MANY years...all 9! AND in chronalogical order! lol

Can't wait to go and see it...its showing at our little podunk local theater...but we are driving 50 miles to the BIG theater where the sound system is soooooooooo much better...AND they have stadium seating!! that is awsome....all the seats are like rockers...and the backs go just above your head...and the BEST part...is that the seat in front of you....well the TOP of the back is at YOUR knees!! you could have some 8 foot tall guy sit in front of you and you wouldn't have a problem!!! you have a TOTALLY unobstructed view of the screen....and the screens are extra wide, extra tall...and slightly curved....its the BEST place to see a good action movie.

i am STOKED!!!

Just for the record....George Lucas has said he doesn't plan to make any Star Wars movies...so it'll remain at 6...and yeah I know there's the three books that came out...but if George wanted to make another set of movies down the road, he'd likely scrap the book stuff and just go with something of his own...but I really don't think he'll make any more movies...they take up too much of his time he's said.

REALLY? that sucks....oh and to think....it just takes so much of his time ever few years to make a BUTT LOAD OF MONEY!! LOL don't ya feel for the guy? LOL

I guess when you have the bucks like he certainly does....you just dont' NEED to go out there and bust your hump to get any more.

oooo!! i wonder if they'll be showing it at the drive-in theater that is near Austin...i'd go in a heartbeat!It's kool...they don't have those crappy little speakers that you park next to--they broadcast the sound on an FM station!!

That's what they do here too...actually I thought that's what all the places did now...I agree that's the way to do it. Drive-ins are a dying breed tho....very few of them left around nowadays...it'd be fun to go check it out there tho if it's playing. Good idea!

I just saw it tonight before work. That movie was tight! Yoda had me rolin, and at the same time in awe. Now I understand why he is a master! Was it me, or was our girl Natilie a little cold up in the movie..if you know what I mean!

No I'll definitely concur with that statement.....it's funny I never looked at her as an attractive girl before, but when she was in that white "battle" outfit she looked quite nice.

natalie portman looked good (minus the wierd hair in some parts(but thats typical for SW))

especially when for no reason, that creature thing ripped off half of her clothes near the end (again for no reason whatsoever)

Was it just me or they hardly hyped this star wars...seemed like last time was a barrage of promotion and hype...everything from toys to fast food etc...

Well I wasn't too inclined to see it...but after reading some of your reviews...maybe I'll give it a look-see

Well in a way there was less advertising yeah. Last time tho, I don't think I saw an actual commercial for the movie itself...just product commercials that were tied to the movie like Pizza Hut etc. This time, I saw a few of the different movie trailers on tv, but don't remember seeing any product commercials...which I thought was a little weird as it'd probably be profitable to tie into the movie.
