Hey guys I have a $20 refer a friend credit for Crutch. You need to spend $200 or more to get it, though. So if you are looking for something for you car try www.crutchfield.com and see if they have it for the price you want. The coupon code is only good once, so the first one to PM me gets it. Cool deal(alright)

***Correction***(attn)

I guess up to 2 people can use the code per month with 10 maximum per year. Come on guys 20 bucks is 20 bucks...that's like two cases of Naty Light (cheers)

Sorry to cause trouble. :( Wasn't my intention, I just wanted to complete my purchase right then.

Here is the way to get it done, we are all here to help each other out right?

Just make a list, putting your code at the top of the list, then the next adds his code. As people use them reply saying you used it and then move the code to the end of the list.

If a code has been used, will Crutchfield tell you it's invalid and you need to try a different one?

My bad FoxPro5.

I didnt know someone would actually use it, most ppl here are anti-Crutchfield. I also posted my code at other forums before and no one ever used it.

Post your code at the opening of this thread and I'll contact Crutchfield to transfer the referral to you.

Usually I don't shop at Crutchfield but for what I needed to get the alternatives weren't much cheaper if at all, and with shopping at Crutchfield I pay no sales tax, no shipping, and have a company I can rely on if there are any problems with my gear, unlike those shady ebay sellers.

Sorry to cause problems, hope you guys get it straightened out.

No worries. Thanks for being considerate. I didn't think anyone would jump on it soon either, but it just so happens that I ordered a sub (MB Quart for an unbeatable price) and then I look on here and Jhot has used yours Badboy. I was pretty pissed, but oh well.

Peace!

Me either, but some of the car stereo items they have had lately are unbeatable, for all the reasons you have listed plus others.

It wasn't the PWE 252 by any chance was it? for $129?

WOW, I was all set to get that one and then I went back and read the description again and its mounting depth was .5" more then my small box that I was going to put it in. Doh! Make sure you post to let us know how you like it.

Yep it was! But I changed my mind. I ordered the 12" (PWE-304) + raa2400 combo package for $279 shipped. Crazy deal.

Yeah I think Crutchfield is a great company. They may not have certain brands such as JL, Eclipse, etc. They also charge most of their products at retail price. But with their customer service, warranties, discounts, and return policy they are hard to beat.

Once in awhile they do have good prices on certain items. Like what FoxPro5 got seems like pretty sweet deal. I got some Alpine Type X components months ago, which I got a good deal on (its too bad I'm having trouble installing them!).

I'm currently "borrowing" those Polk Audio EX357 5x7 coax speakers that are on sale for $30. I'm not fully satisfied with them so they will be returned. I prefer the Alpine Type S coaxials that I borrowed from them a year ago. :D So I guess I prefer metal tweets over silk tweets.

I also borrowed a Sony deck from them a year ago and they let me keep the wiring harness and mounting kit.

All shipping occured was prepaid by them. They upgraded my shipping from UPS ground to UPS 3day one time at no charge. Oh yah and no tax!

That deal looks tempting, let us know how it sounds!

Couple more things....

Crutchfield is giving free shipping on all head units which would come with free wiring harness, mounting kit, and mastersheets.

And there is a $10 off + free shipping discount for orders $50+ if you pay by visa card. Go to www.visa.com -> get shopping discounts -> select Crutchfield as a merchant.

Yup, there are certain brands you'll never be able to buy online because there are no authorized online merchants (such as JL Audio, Eclipse, Diamond, etc...)

But for those brands that are authorized for online sales between discounts and service at crutchfield and sounddomain you should be set and still have the benefit of the full manufacturers warranty and be able to shop with the confidence that you aren't purchasing gray market equipment.

I am still bummed that the MB Quart sub at crutchfield was .5" too deep for my application, because that $129 was an awesome price. I am sure I'll find the Infinity Reference that I ended up with just fine for my purposes (it is my wife's truck after all) and after the $20 discount and free shipping cost to me was $69, not bad.l
