So my g/f just got me a set of Satisfied Pro Ceramic brake pads for the P5, and I was curious if anyone has any experience with these? Good grip? Noise? Life? All that. She got me the front pads, I'm getting rears and Brembo rotors for a full replacement next month. Anyway, help a brotha out.

"ping" is running them currently on his MSP. PM him. He said they are pretty good all in all.

Any idea where to get GOOD cross drilled/slotted Brembo rotors? These or These look any good?
are you really sure those are brembos? i would serisouly doubt it. anyways, you can get the rotorworks cross drilled and slotted cheaper. thats what i have and i love them.

The second link in my previous post is from a very reputable place, so I think I'll end up with those. Also, gettin my rear pads tomorrow, 40 at Checker, I'll update when all is on the car.

So I ordered those rotors and they showed up this morning. Heavy, but damn impressive. They look totally balanced, all holes are chamfered, and they're super clean. The front set has 6 slots and 12 sets of 3 drills per side, and the rear set has 4 slots and 8 sets of 3 drills per side. They have brembo stamped on the edges, so as far as I can tell they're real. Also, really good break in instructions. This company is no joke. And only 195 shipped for the whole set. If you're interested, check out www.sportbrakes.com or the associated seller on ebay (sportbrakescom). Here's some pics:

i have those satisfied ceramics with rotora slotted rotors in the front. they work rather well. one night we were doing a bunch of runs along a strip of freeway and they started smoking from all the braking. they didn't leave any crap on the rotors and they still stop like normal now. when they were smoking they were mushy. i was a little dissapointed at them smoking (i had Axxis Ultimates in before which are race pads and they didn't smoke but they ate my rotors)... but as long as you don't have a turbo and do like 7-8 consecutive stops from 80mph you'll be fine

I got mine from the same people, same price - 195.00 to the door, all in brembo boxes, all have brembo stamp on the edge of the rotor. Took a few days for the hawk hps's to bed in but finally did. They made all kinda noise until they did like metal to metal sound - no wasn't anything but the pads. They weren't chamfered on the edges. That was almost 40k ago. I have about 1/3 of the pads left & rotors will be toast by the time the pads are gone. Won't be enough left 2 turn. Will be getting same set when these are done. Nothing but good in all braking situations. Your pads should be better on dusting than mine I would think tho they weren't bad really. I believe the hps's I got were the old design that supposedly grooved rotors but haven't had that happen either.

Through two separate problems, I completely toasted my rear rotors. My right one was damaged when I bought the car in August, nice big groove in it, I have no idea what could've caused it, I'll post pics when it's off the car. The other one had it's edge sheared down by a missing caliper bolt that took me too long to diagnose. Caliper on rotor = the worst noise I've ever heard. Anyway, high time to replace them, so I'm doin a full replacement all around. Quick question, did you do all of the things they suggested for break in? I'd like to get them properly seated, but it's hard to find enough open space.
