BTW Icruz64, DSM did post a message a few lines up saying that he is going to find out if our SS is compatible with WB's. But I am in the same boat as you. If it doesn't work, there are WB's that can produce a serial output but I don't know if they come with software.

I'm aware of that Genius what I want to know is if DSMConvert will let us trade the AFC we've got for the one we need. When I first bought it I was under the impression that it was available with the unit but I guess I misleaded myself anyway the difference is that for $200.00 or cheaper you can get a wb sensor with analog output and log it right on the AFC in conjunction with the rpm and boost giving you very nice tuning capability. It also has 4 inputs so when you use 1 for the wb you still have 3 available to add other sensors like: J&S output (knock sensor), EGT and temperature will be my choices. I don't like gauges on my interior.
DSMConvert I want to get this done in my car and will post all the information on how to do it properly once done.

PACKAGE RECIEVED THIS MORNING!!! just got home from work, about to install. i'm gonna run it on stock boost for the first night but what map is the unit preprogramed to? do i need to hook it up to the laptop to put it on the 10psi map or th supermap?

It has the supermap out of the box. It can boost to 10 psi out of the box.

ahhh yes!! thank you kindly. i'll be having fun tonight... one more quick question... what happens if i'm on 9 PSi, will it use the 8psi map or the 10 psi map? i mean i'm going to go with 10 PSi since it's on a switch and i seldome use it, but for when i'm tuning it i don't want to be beating on it in the 8 PSi map when the car's running 9

how do i chaange my subscribed threads notifications from daily to none? I edited the option in my edit options menu to no daily notification, then weekly then none and saved it each time, etc. how can i simply change to none with a click or menu option or somethin?... i found it I think, at the bottom > selected threads > move to folder.

i heart my AFC! installed it today in less than 45 min! and the car feels like a whole new car! i've got a couple questions about some of the software but it's almost 2 in the morning here and i'm spent. talk to you guys tomorrow THANKS DSM!

It has the proper values from 2psi's to 16psi's in 1psi increments so you'll be fine. Try to find a shop that will rent you a wide band to tune it if you don't have one that will be less $$ than a dyno.

oh wow sweet! that's good the car still feels amazing... all in all best mod i've done thus far... hope that it doesn't go awry with the addition of the FMIC.

Same here it was the best mod for me too, just take care of the exhaust before you go to the fmic. The best flow is a cutout but it's loud.

yeah i've got 2.5 minus 1 cat but no DP yet.. i'm really thinking about doing a cutout but i need a MIL elim for that. i already ordered the FMIC though!

Try ebay for the cutout and go to a local shop to get it installed it will be about $100.00 for install + $125.00 for the piece = $225.00 will out flow anything else not bad at all.
Now if you dare you can try this CAI, stage colder plugs, FMIC, full turbo back exhaust, AFC, 440cc injectors, wideband and 14psi = 240+ whp
