Harness
NOW for the fun part, IF you are going to do a wiring harness like I did; you will need to cut the wires up as high as possible (up to where the bundle goes into the black tape etc.). Cut the wires, strip `em, put the wires togehter close and twist then solder them back together. And a word of advice from someone who`s done it, if you are going to tin the wire then solder the plug pin on GO EASY on the solder. Do a GOOD JOB, not an overachieving job. I wish someone would have told me this. The pin will likely not click all the way into the plug if the solder winds up on the outside of the pin instead of where u want it, in between the wire and pin, or the wires together may not go into the pin and that is not a good thing.
I used a setup where the O2 and MAF are on their own plugs and the other three wires are all together, but a 5 or 7 or whatever all in one would probably be easier. The only problem is you would have to make a little jumper for the MAF and O2 if you unplug the AFC. There are a couple of different ways to do this. The O2 is a shielded wire and has other wires around it (it`s a MESS!) I just cut `em and used a little piece of wire to put `em back together, I don`t know if this is necessary, then used a little black tape.
I made this sound all real easy, but it was a PAIN. If things fight with you, expect to take AT LEAST an hour.
BUT, the result is pretty much worth it. When I was done, there are plugs sittin right there stickin out from under the carpet easy to get to. PIC.S!
