Yes it kills hesitation. Read up on this unit people, it has been discussed all over the place.

Interested in the FMIC problem that people where having. Also... subscribing, I'm in the market.

Second thought... DSM, put me on your list.

I would like some advice from you all. I am trying to decide on what Santa should bring me for Christmas. I have a long wish list but know that I can really only get one thing on it. They only performance mod I have is a Ingen CAI. I am thinking either this AFC, a BOV, hardpipes, SMIC or put the money away and continue to save for a FMIC, or some exhaust pieces or again put the money away and continue to save for a full set up. I was also trying to get some springs from KYMP5 but like other members have not heard back from him. So maybe even throw new full priced springs onto the wish list. So there you have it, what do you guys think I should ask Santa for? Thanks in advance for your advice.

The thought just occurred to me that I probably should have posted that question in another section. I apologize to DSM for this. I was reading this thread this morning because I'm interested in the AFC and then was just wondering what I should get. So once again I'm sorry. Any advice is still appreciated though.

damn thats a good deal, people should jump on this, your not going to find to many solutions for this price.

Yep, Ive thought about it...Im in.....would it be cheaper for me since I can drive to tampa & pick it up? (wink)

do you have to uninstall this unit to send it back for tuning or is there a harness or some sort of quick disconnect option?

No you plug in a laptop to the AFC and update the ratios.

i tried many, many times to get in contact with him (hardpipes) and never one response.....i finally gave up, hope this works out better than the hardpipes did.....

I thought that some people were saying that if you get your car dynoed and send DSM your air/fuel chart that they will tune it for you and send it back, is this true?

Also then if this is true how do you disconnect the unit, do you really have to uninstall it, I really hope not since I will not be installing this my self and that has got to be a pain in the ass to do with splicing all the wires and so forth?
