I'm flying directly back to Qc, but I'll surely go in Mtl at least once for before spring, so we'll schedule some kind of meeting somewhere then, I think Cusson is from Mtl too anyway... BTW I questions the customs last week while flying back and everything is going to be legally imported to Canada, with absolutelly no extra fees!

Can wait for all that snow to melt... sometime late April :S
 
Getting stuff sent to Canada sounds like a PAIN. What`s all the fuss?

It is not that bad when you know which Service and especially which options to use, but I have to says I had some bad experiences in the past with customs fees and transit time.
 
oh and one other thing...

The AFC can take a wideband input. I am looking at the wideband 02 + guage on **********'s website http://www.**********.com/product_p/30-4111.htm
and was wondering if I can input that to the AFC.

Would it be a second input? How would it wire in? The reason I ask is because I k now that the AFC breaks into the signal from the NB to trick the ECU. So if I use a wide band O2....? Does it just directly replace the stock O2?

Also, would any changes need to be made to the supermap? Which output of the O2 would I use? The analog or serial?

There's 2 ways of doing it.
1) If you have a wb that will simulate a nb you can just use it instead of the stock one, meaning you only have one o2 sensor on your exhaust. That is just to replace the stock o2 sensor and then you use the regular wb (not the simulated) signal to go into the AFC and log it.
2) Have 2 o2 sensors (wb & nb) installed on your exhaust one that goes to the AFC for loging and the other for the oem ecu. I'm not sure if the AFC has the ability to translate the wb input to nb for the ecu so if someone knows please post.

Ok guys I apologize profusely for being gone...I went on a cruise to Mexico and was told I would have internet access while there...well they lied, Cozumel was basically totally wiped out, no internet no phones barely power...at any rate...Sick and the others I have your emails please allow me a few days to go through them, if you do not hear back from me by Tuesday feel free to stab your voodoo dolls. And yes Sick you're locked into the GB so no worries. The batch is about 75% through production and after that all that is left is QA checks, so we're getting close. Canadians we've shipped several AFCs to Canada and have yet to see a duty fee anywhere near $100. Our custom is to send them "Gifted" or "Warranty" and so far the highest fee we've heard about was $20 Canadian. But at any rate just let me know when they are ready to ship how you guys want to do it, we can either ship them all in 1 box, give to morpheus or via African Swallow...
 
Personally I'm still okay with they idea of shipping it to morpheus as he lives 30 min away from my place. That's the safest way to get everything without customs, and it will be even worst after christmas as they're all pissed off of no fees Gifts ;)
