Greetings all,

It's that time again, time for the March RX-Club of Houston meet. This months meeting will be held at Gabby's BBQ just off 610 North Loop. This is a great location with plenty of parking so let's see what kind of turnout we can have.

As always we welcome all Mazdas and all rotary powered vehicles.

Date: Tuesday, March 4th 2008
Time: Meet in the parking lot as early as 6pm, head inside for dinner around 7pm
Location: Gabby's BBQ - 3101 N Shepherd Dr Houston, TX 77018

any age requirements or anything like that?
what all will be taking place at the meet?

No age requirements. We have members from teens to retirees (most are 20 and 30 somethings).

Attendees are welcome to show up as early as 6pm. Typically hoods are popped and people will show off hteir latest tricks, tips or gadgets. About 7 we head inside get some grub and chill with our freinds and acquainences.

After dinner some people go home or split in packs (you know safety in numbers right) and others hang out for a while.

Typically we have about 30-40 people at this meet.

Here are some pics of a meeting there last year: http://www.houstonrx7club.com/events/2007/040307/

Thanks,
I've been wanting to get plugged in with the rest of the Houston "Mazda Community"

No problem, we have meetings nearly every month and sometimes more. We also work with the local Miata, Mazda3 and Mazda6 groups in town also.

Usually there are a few members from all the other makes as well as a couple dozen RX'es.

i just got a turbo II, so i may be in on this one. sucks that it's a weekday though. i usually don't get off until 6-6:30, but i work on the north loop

Most of our regular club meetings are on weeknights. The meetings last from about 6:30-ish to about 9 or later). Weekend meetings sound great in theory, but rarely have the larger turnout of a weeknight meet.

We do occasionally have a weekend event whenever there is a event in town or we go on a drive (like the one on March 1st).

Yeah,
I'm already behind in school, and night school would just hamper me even more.
besides, college is over rated =P
