Running too rich Car Stutters

Hey guys I have an 08 mazdaspeed3 mods are ms intake converted to short ram, custom fmic, stock dp with 3inch straight exhaust, turbo smart mbc set@ 17psi. Now my concern is my car will dip into the mid to low 9s afr and the car starts to stutter, i checked for boost leaks and vacumm leaks but im holding boost fine; boost drops to 14.27psi by redline, what can this be if i do a roll and punch it no stutter, sometimes it stutters; but if i start from first it starts stuttering and it happens wen the afrs dip into the 9s, can it be that i need new spark plugs?

what are you using to check your afr? if its a narrow band i wouldn't trust it.

How many miles on your car, im sure you don't need spark plugs.

Also there is a fuel pump tsb out but i don't know if that's for 08's. Also there is probably a pcm flash available for your car.

why don't you try and take the mods off and see if the car still has the same problem. And if you still have the prob go to the dealer with the mods off. Cause if you go with the mods on and complain about a studder I know they would say screw you and send you on your way. Because that's what we do at my dealer.

Those a/f ratio's are normal for the stock ecu. It sounds like you are getting fuel cut because you maxed out your stock fuel pump. Log fuel pressure on your dashhawk while it is stuttering. At WOT it should hold 1600-1800, but it will drop to around 1200 when you get a stutter. If this is the case you need to upgrade your pump internals. You may also want to run a map clamp with your set up.

i have not ever seen 1800 psi on the stock pump not even the other 2 ms3 we data logged. it barly touches 17. but reguardless yes get the fuel pump upgrade i just did the rebuild your own kit from pg today less then an hour ago. im hitting 1800 touching 19 with out really getting on it. its freaking amazing.
