Rubbing

To end all of this I will finish this consultation right now.

Since you do not have the +45 offset in the 7" width you MUST RUN a 205, as I stated on the last page.

With Regards to Sir Nuke, he can put ten people in his car and not rub on the outside fender. It follows my recipe to the "T".

Change your tire size and you'll be set. Read the recipe.

Tire choice will also make a difference and you can't compare front spacing and assume it to have the same effect. I understand that his and Nuke's should be the same but obviously it does not work the same. The 215 will stretch over the 7.5 whereas it will be much more of a vertical sidewall on the 7". Therefore they are not equivalent.

It was my fault. I did read the recipe before i got these wheels. They look so good i couldn't resist. Its only -2 mm shy of your recipe guide I figure I can cheat it....but again, I thought wrong. Listen to Rishie peeps, use me as your mistake! hahah and Rishie I'll PM you soon about some white TE-37 (wink) and please tell me those will not rub with 17! Thanks for the inputs.

I have the exact same problem as you right now. +43 Offset on 215/40/17 and it rubs on the rear passenger side. I'm also lowered on RB springs off an mp3. I'm getting 205/45 's as soon as possible :D

OK Rishie.

I am getting 215/40/17 on a +42 offset 7" rim.

I have a Sedan. It fits your recipe, so it should be fine right?
