Rtek?

i am running rtek 1.7 on s4 turbo with stock primaries (550) and 750 secondaries.

i like it because my car is mostly stock for now. i want to switch to a megasquirt when i get a new turbo and go with a FMIC.

I found a Rtek 1.7 for a great deal, and I was thinking of putting in a little bigger primaries, maybe 680cc and 750 secondaries. My new turbo is about the same size as stock but it spools too fast and now is way too lean between 3000 and 4000 rpm range. It hesitates and cuts out, so I am hoping this will solve my issue, if not I guess I will have to save up and go with a Power FC or something.

The 1.7 should solve that issue. It brings the secondary load cycle down a little in the band. Bigger primaries aren't completely necessary, but might be more suitable for your application.

It also extends the primary duty cycle by 5%. With it so lean I think I need some larger primaries or it will still be lean.
