well like i said, you can drive it as long as the road and the engine will allow..or how long till your conscious kicks in ...ive gotten the ITR over 135. Im not crazy, thats plenty fast for me.

Ooook, in response to what happened in teh first page of this thread (a 94 protege lx beating a type r), i gotta raise the BS flag.

A friend of a friend of mine drives a Type R and one day I friendly raced him down some windy back roads and after a minute I couldn't even see his taillights anymore. The acceleration of that thing is crazy, absolutely murders the Protege. Keeping up with that thing is hard to believe, even a crappy driver would probably beat you.

Yeah hakushi I think everyone agrees with you on that one. A protege, especially an older one, would have to have plenty of work to take an R, not just bolt ons like triton has.

Triton, I do believe that a GTP could beat a Type R. Driver has alot to do with it. However, one reason I hate arguing with you is because you don't write like you are old enough to drive. "Affense"???? What the hell does that mean? It is offense. I wouldn't say anything if you just wrote like that in one post but it is every post triton. How old are you really?

NO really though those were my two friends and the GTP is hooked up to run low 14's and they raced from a stoplight leaving the base gate. it was cool though. Anyways a type-R from visalia and my buddy in his GS-R from N.A.S Lemoore are going to run them on saturday night i'll get pictures so you could see them and my MP3 and Protege Lx. take care

OK, I haven't bothered to read this post for sometime not, but it looks like I've been missing a lot of action. Subywan ran with a GTP in his WRX back in Michigan while his car was still stock. They went at it 2 times and both times the WRX walked away at the top of 3rd gear. I'm not sure what an ITR would do against the WRX, but if I'm thinking right, the WRX (being if he nails the launch right) will be an ITR.

Oh yeah, there is no way that and Protege in any form will beat an ITR. Especially not an 97' ITR. Maybe he wasn't racing and you were or something. How many times did you guys go at it?

Oh if you really want to race someone illegaly. Take a trip to Highway 17 into Santa Cruz. It's very, very dangerous, but the car with the best suspension and power will shine there. I was on it last night messing around with some V6 accord and man, I was scaring myself a little. The rear end of my car was stepping out towards the center divide a few times when I let off the throttle. The turn said 40, so I went 60.... I also got a speeding ticket on the way back home :mad:

Hey finally InitialRes, Last night a Civic Si and i with my girl and her friend were crusing down the road as a black integra flew by me and the Si heading down an open road where there's no other car's around. Well i was supposed to race the Si But i had to take him as i drop gear catching him at 90mph he stayed by my side as i was already reaching 105mph in 4th then he barely pass me as i reach redline at 7000rpms at 113mph i pass him hitting 5th get about a 2 car lengh lead still pulling reaching 125mph as i was already 5car lenghs ahead of him then a few seconds later my girl yells cause there was a truck in front of me as i was glancing in the rear view mirror slowing down then he barely passes me and i just turned aroung to look for the SI and, the guy in the Si told me that it was a Ls with DTM exhaust, Aem intake, and header's. But that guy had two people in the car and it was a even race.

Man, I have 1 request. Please. It's really simple. We've all been to school at some point. (Hopefully, it is required in America still) Can you use some punctuation? I am able to pick out what you are saying, and the stories (that's what they are, right?) are hilarious, (It's comedy, right?) but damn it takes some work to get through!

Seriously CJstringer. Triton, are you old enough to drive? I only ask because the way you write makes you sound so young. Also, whatever happened to you taking your 94 Protege to the track and getting tons of pictures and timeslips? I'd like to see those. As for your MP3, I love those cars, but if it is stock, or just CAI, I know that my LS would smoke you. I want to see timeslips of this beastly machine that we have all been hearing about.

By the way i have a video tape of a integra that you'll love to see. But anyways sorry bro, that integra was trying to Fu** with me and the civic SI so i just blew the doors off that car, and it's like taking candy from a baby..!!!!! (1.) My car is not the fastest car there is, nor the best looking car there is. (2.) I know that i can blow the doors off of some cars that i know i can take and, i never said that my 94 Protege LX, was a beast machine.

Are we ever going to see this car? Perhaps a timeslip or two? I never once said you didn't have the car but I do have trouble believing you when you don't ever post it.
Also, this car must be fast because if it smokes ITRs then it must be running low 14s. So can we see it?
