RPM questions.

I have a 2002 auto transmission pr5. Just had to have the transmission rebuilt and I feel like its running at high rpms. How many RPMs should it be running going 60 and 70 mph?? Thanks.

I have the earlier model 2002 PR5 with the big shift knob and button and I rev at 3k at 70mph. I to believe that these cars rev high in the highway. At 80mph I'm near or at 3500rpms. I think the later 2002-2003 with the sporty tranny rev a little lower but maybe someone can confirm that.

Auto trans is the same for 2.0 protgs 01-03 even the sport auto. I have a manual an I run 3500 at 75. Our cars really need a 6th gear.
