Rough Idle

I put my downpipe back on last weekend and now I notice my idle is pretty rough. You shake in the seat at a stoplight. I do have the AWR front mount, but i've had it forever and it has never shaken this much. I didn't reset the ecu, would that make a difference. Also i'm running bosch platinum plugs, I think that has something to do with it. I ordered some NGK's so they should be here soon. Any ideas?

Mine does the same thing... I also have the awr mounts. Mine started happening when I put on the fmic. Someone told me that it affected the airflow or something, and I probably needed to go to the dealership and have them reset the idle. I believe it was at 780rpm, mine runs a little over 750rpm.

haha... I broke down and took the car in so they would fix my front lip, cause the damn thing was vibarating so much! lol

Nope no cel. It seems to run fine except for the idle.

I do believe that it is the EGR valve sticking. There are many threads on this, and the part is on National backorder. Mine does this but goes from 300ish to 1100 and back.

Yup same here.

It will idle around 7-800 just fine....then all of a sudden dip down low, and bounce back up (usually past 800), and back down to 7-800 again.

You think it's the EGR valve? I just though it was the crap idle control in the PCM

Mine seems to idle rough as well, although I don't have a MSP. A few months ago it idled rough all the time for a few weeks straight, but now only does it intermittently.

mine used to do the same thing, at first it was the bov then I fixed that so I would guess egr or crap pcm
