Car seems to idle a little rough when in gear and idling. Mentioned it to the dealer twice, but they say they don't see anything wrong with it (doesn't do it when they test it).

Anyone else having similar idle issue?

Thanks,
Jess

I don't know if this will help, but back with 3400 miles on the odometer, my 6 started to miss a couple of times then went away......it happened when idling for a long period....it eventually had a problem while on the freeway cruising that caused the warning lights and messager to go on and a stumble. I was near the dealer so i limped it in. They kept the car, gave me a loaner....they replaced the maf sensor which took a few days to get. I never got a really straight answer from them on what happened, but know there was a moment on the freeway where the sensor was not communicating with the car...now at 8000 miles the car has been trouble free, no miss, no problems...i love this car.

Thanks, I'll mention it next time around. Still doing it, just not consistently. So when I've taken it in for oil changes and mentioned it, they haven't been able to reproduce the issue.

A while back it did leave me stranded. I took it to get tinted, and OMW home at a red light it lunged and then immediately shut off. After that when I started it there was some messages on the dash (below)

Keyless System inspection required
Engine inspection required
Scbs inspection required

If began sputtering pretty bad, so I pulled over and had it towed to the dealer. They tried to blame the tint at first (water dripped onto wires or some bull), but then after a week of having it called me to get it. They said they fixed nothing, but it only repeated the symptoms one day and then was okay every other time they tested it. Not sure if that's now related to this rough idle issue.
