You mean those little spring looking things, or the shims that were with the stock pads? I used the spring things, but not the shims, and mine sounds normal.

well i just got the front ones on. and wow they feel soooo much smoother. no more jerky stopping. can't wait till tomorrow to put the rears on.

FYI: don't touch the rotors to see if they are hot after test driving them. they will be OMFG OW THAT HURTS hot. i've got the blister to prove it too LOL.

man i'm such a dumass.

anyhow, gnight all

Dragonspeed: dumbass is right hehehehe!!!

Well I'm glad I could help Dr. sound...hehe. I was looking at the pads and they had some sort of rubber pad on them so I opted to not put on the metal shims. Besides, if they needed them they would have been in the box right! Anyway, glad to hear that everyone is getting these to work out... I love mine.

ok like, i'm putting on the rears now, and got the pads and rotor on, but the ****** piston doesnt wanna go back in.. even with c clamp i got that b**** turned TIGHT and it doesnt budge inward, i already have the brake fluid cap off so i'm at a loss.. any idea?

All done with mine, oooo so nice and smooooth. not used to it since i've been on warped rotors for the past 9000 miles heh. Thanks a ton for the help peeps, i wouldn't have been able to done this myself if it wasn't for yall.

^ lol
nice!

dont they feel even better that the stock brakes felt the day u drove it off the lot??

my brakes are awesome... they are nice and smooth and the harder you press it's like the car just wants to keep stopping faster and faster... I don't know how to explain it, but it's like there is no fade. I mean with a soft touch they are there but not violet, but when you start to push down, it's like they don't stop wanting to slow down, no fade.. just more and more stopping power.. it's nice....the pedal never gets to hard and fades away.... I love my brakes.

eh, did you get my payment???
Yes dexter, got it a couple days ago... The furst thread will be updated in a few minutes.

Rotorworks are waiting on front Axxis pads. They have the Deluxe pads in stock, which are not as good as the MetalMasters. I told him to get in gear and get more of the MM is stock and get the Rotors out to my fellow MSP's. I do not want to substitute the MM for the Deluxe pads.
