ROTORA is working on BIG BRAKE kit for MSP

would it be possible just to get the rotors? would it fit the stock caliper? how much total would it cost for a whole gb package u think?

Ok Guys A Rotora Group Buy Is Comming (pending Vendor Status)
Starting Price Will Be 1885.5 For 1-3 Then Cheaper As They Go. He Is Also Talking About Free Shipping To Simplify Pricing Questions.

im interested in the rotors and pads, cant afford the bbk right now
I'm gonna see about setting up a GB for MSP and P5 owners on rotors and pads.

interested but what's the weight increase on this? very curious in the specific performance # hehe
This would depend on the size rotor they use. The rotors even on their 14" kits are very heavy but the calipers are super light at least for a 6 piston.

dust seals on pistons?
all four wheels?
loaded calipers?
price for pad replacement on those bad boys?
hard lines or SSB lines included?
will we need spacers?
alluminum or phenolic pistons?

sorry for all the questions, please answer any posible.
it's a lot of money to spend and there are other companies.

just want the right ones the first time.

What he said! Me want's big brakes too :D

Can we get a CAD drawing of the caliper clearance data or at least a matrix. The rotora caliper does have dust seals. BUt make sure you're getting a brake system that's gonna act and feel like a BBK should. If you haven't had experience with an upgraded, AP/Alcon/Stoptech type setup i would emplore you to feel those so you are aware of what it should be. There's a reason that the really good brake systems are expensive. A lot of engineering and high QC manufacturing take place. they are also race proven.

I guarantee the one benefit of the rotora system would be the dust seals. Now in cali, i've got friends that have needed to rebuild every year and others that have gone for more than two years with out any problems. I believe in those poorer weathered states so to speak this would be a benefit.

Piston diameters would be good to know, definitely clearance data. Are the rotora calipers forged, how much do they weigh? What's the cost of replacement discs, can we replace just the disc?

WEll there you go. This turned into a decent tech thread. If these can be answered we should start a thread detailing some of the differences in both weight, construction, and size of these brake systems. I'll be happy to do that.

I'll provide Endless, Stoptech, you can handle Rotora. Wilwood I can get from AWR probably. But they don't trust the calipers for racing so I don't trust em. Scratch wilwood.

G'nite. sleepy time.

Wicked, do you work with Mark? I wasn't aware you guys had a MSP project car. I'll be bringing a car over to hoover shortly. I'll prob stop by there to tune the P5 also.

if everything fits in the wheels and I hear good things I'm in for a group buy... I was going to go Hiboost FMIC and a few other things... but I'd rather get the BBK right now if the GB price is good

no I just built the hard pipe kit with them and buy things from them.I just put there name out there because they make very good products, and hoover listened when I told him what we need(ie,hard pipes,SMIC,sri intake).

I'll probaly be taking my MSP there soon for a dyno run.

by the way they don't have a project MSP car they just used mine.

Hey see if you can get a GB going with the rotors, pads, and steel braided brake lines.
