What the hell?!? They were stuck to the hub. I had to kick 'em to get them off. Does this happen to others? Why does it happen? How do I fix it?

yeah i had mine stick to the rotor witch i think you meant. it happens cause alloy wheels will corrode to steel rotors. a light coat of grease between the 2 will fix it, and also anti-seize but be very mild with the amount of a-s

All 4 of mine did that, i had to use a 2x4 and a freakin maul to get them off they were that bad.

Had the same thing happen to me. The fronts weren't too bad but needed a wooden baseball bat for the rears. Just use a little grease as mentioned before and you'll be good to go the next time.

Yes, it happens to me too

I always use WD-40 and a wire brush to remove rust from the hub every time I change wheels. It reduced the stuck wheels problem.

Happened to me just recently putting on my winters. Front came up with force. Rears were stuck.... reallll good.

Took my car to my brother's shop and got it on the hoist. Grabbed some various bars on the car, got in to a chin-up-crunch-type position and gave it a good ole double-action karate drop-kick. A few of those and they came off.

Use some anti-sieze grease/paste on the hub to prevent it. That or wish your car wasn't so reliable so you had a reason to take your wheels off more often.

I've never tried this, but I suppose you could also just loosten all the lugs a turn or so and go forward and back, jamming the brakes. That might be the easiest way, and gets them all.

Tried that too before I got it to a hoist. I loosened off the rear nuts quite a bit and took it for a spirited run around the block.. Nothing.. Still wouldn't budge to my vexed surprise. I was sure it would have done it too.. haha..
