ROTA GT-3's on a Protege5..?

Well i went to Machiii.net and i saw that they carry the GT-3's in our bolt pattern 5 X 114.3, however the offset they carry is 40...
My car is not lowered, so will this offset be ok??
Thanks guys

IF you are going to lower, you will rub majorly. 40 is ok if you don't lower. In all cases..I'd look for a different rim.

I don't think so. I had +42's on stock springs and rubbed in the back. If you have a sedan you might be better off, but I wouldn't do it with a P5.

However like you said, if dont drop the car, Im ok??

I have a friend with the Rota GT-3s... they fit with the stock tires, but if you go for a 205 or wider it will probably rub.

BTW he is lowered on H&Rs.

I have 17x7 +40 wheel and my tires dont rub (205/40) with the Tokico struts and Eibach springs.

my autocross wheels are 16x7 with a +38 offset running 215/45 tires and they use to rub on the rear inner lip, so I tucked the lip up.

Those are on the stock 195/50/16 tires.

Geez, that is absolutely gorgeous!! I'm Sold!
Did he get them from Machiii.net? So his offset is 40 correct? Sorry to be a pain i just want to make sure.
Just to please my inquiry does he have any closer shots..
Peace

that's my car that's pictured there!

I strongly suggest you get hubcentric rings for the wheels, as I do get a lot of vibrations. Other than that, the wheels are great. The centercaps are a bit ugly, I haven't attempted to put them on :D.

I actually bent one of my rims, so i'm running on stockers right now, it wasn't the wheels' fault tho, it was a big rock :D.

If u have any questions, don't hesitate to PM me or placebo as I don't check this board much.
