rolling rear fenders

To my understanding on the P5, the rear fenders is what causes the problems on low offset wheels. Someone told me that you take a wooden baseball bat and just apply alot of pressure and roll the bat alond the bottom of the fender, rolling that edge that sticks out up. is this close to being correct? If so, why do people say its very hard to do and takes alot of talent?

It's hard to do WITHOUT denting the fender or chipping the paint. If you are thinking of doing this, save your self the headache and find the right sized rims...it makes things a whole lot easier:)

its not hard to do it without denting the fender...fenders are alot stronger then people think, i did mine with a socket wrench but mine is so low that i just put the wrench in the fender and backed the car over it and walaa! done with rolled fenders, no more rubbing problems even on bumps or fast turns

find a good body man. don't try this yourself, unless you have the experiance and skill.

or drop by a local custom wheel shop and ask them about doing this for you... Wheel Source used to have an install bay and the VP came out and rolled the fenders on my '99 Si with no sweat. But then, he had 4 guys standing in my trunk to do this since the car wasn't lowered enough to fit the baseball bat in there to his satifaction. Looked effortless to me but I wouldn't have the nuts to do this myself.

I had the fenders on my protege rolled it looks flawless and there are no rubbing issues what so ever origianlly i couldnt even conrer hard after having the car lowered.

for all 4? how much?

I just had the rear two wells rolled i had it done proffesionally they did a awesome job they attached a roller to the hub of the car and went back and forth like 20 times untill the lip was completely gone. The offset of my wheel is pretty much 2 cm off the fender so originally it rubbed and i had it fixed imediatly and no rubbing issues ever
