Rochester roll call!

I was just messing around. It's good to have Rochester area people speak up, the very few of us that there are.

June 21st there's an SCCA event at Batavia Motorsports Park (the kart track). You should come out and cheer on me and my MSP.

I'm driving to Rochester to look at a MSP soon... who's selling a black MSP?

I'm not sure of the one in Rochester but there is another Black one for sale in painted post.

I went a week or two ago to check it out. As a kind warning to all BE CARFULL !! It has been wrecked and put back together. Whomever had it beat it up pretty good. The fella working on it seems to be doing a pretty decent job but I walked away without batting an eyelash. Kinda scared me for the money he wanted for it.

I'd like to make that event in Batavia. Track must be tight = fun.
Just ordered my MSP brake upgrade for the Pro5 from RotorPro so bigger brakes in a week or two. : ) Going to go with silver G2 calper paint. Couldn't talk myself into red.

anyone in Rochester area have a speed bleader system I could borrow?

Yay staying away from ricer red calipers. It's called having a friend push on the brake pedal. My wife's the one who helps me when I have to bleed the brakes.

8 days till Batavia! It's really fun to drive, but difficult to because the corners are banked, so it's harder since we're all used to driving on flat parking lots.

Well at least we're getting a decent list of Rochester people. Eventually it might be nice to get a meet put together.

Batavia was awesome. 72 people registered, we got 6 runs in, and we were done by 2:30. Then they did some fun runs and we were cleaned up and out of there by 3:30. I won D-stock, but there was only one other person in the class with an MS3 and he's a novice, so not really fair. It was a gorgeous day too.

Nice, and congrats on the domination. (first)

Thanks. It's an empty victory because I was racing against a rookie. There was good news for the day though. Background: I am running in D-stock class, but I have street tires. You can run comp tires in the class though, so normally I would be getting whooped. A national level driver who used to run D-stock in his ITR is now running in STX, which means he has to run street tires. So we're really running at the same level, although I have no idea if he has done anything to his suspension. I beat his raw time by half a second, which shocks me. I'm actually going to get in touch with him and see if there was anything wrong with his car.

So, where the hell is the 1/4 track in Rochester? I hate ESTA...

And is anyone interested in getting together for a multi-poc meet?
