Road rage-ers

Today I encountered one of the most frustrating road rage incidents I've ever had. I had just finished eating lunch and was getting ready to go back to school. Well, I had to make a left turn onto a very busy main street from a small plaza where the exit had no traffic light, and the street was filled with cars today. Jam packed kind of full, as in, there were cars on the road in front of me so I can't move. Anyways, I was looking in the rear view mirror, and I see this elderly man in a gold Corolla with a handicap sign on the window. Well, i didn't think much of it until I faintly heard a honk after a few minutes of waiting (again, the road in front of me never cleared because of a traffic jam). That was already pretty inconsiderate, come on, there's no way I can move. Anyways, so I wait on a bit more, and then the guy honked me with this really long beep and I saw him waving his fists at me. Anyways, the people on the street were finally nice enough to stop BEFORE the driveway, giving an opening and I finally managed to get out after waiting like 5 minutes or so. When I see that old man again beside me at the traffic light he rolls down his window and stars saying "F*CK YOU! MOTHERF*CKER CAN'T F*CKING DRIVE! LEARN TO DRIVE YOU CHINK!" and I'm thinking "WTF?" and he drives off (not before I managed to yell "f*ck you" and give him a finger). What a freak.

First of all, even if I were a BIT slow, I don't think it called for his sort of behaviour, not to mention, it was a damn traffic jam! I hope he has a heart attack :mad:

man I know how you feel....almost the exact same thing happened to me once...only after the second honking of the horn I waved to him out the back window.....of course it was one of those ONE FINGERED waves....well ya just never know what kinds of whackos there are out there....when the guy pulled up next to me in traffic he had a gun in his hand!!! fortunately for me I saw it...and I stopped before I had to...his "woman" had rolled down the window and was yelling at me...geeez the nerve of people....anyway....I could see his plate...and I was only about four blocks from home.....the traffic started to move...I got behind him....turned at the next light....went straight in and called the cops.....I don't know if they ever caught him....don't really care for sure....Ya just gotta be careful who you yell at or shoot the finger.

Similar story. I'm such an @$$

I was first at a light. Light turned green and I am one of these who waits a second to make sure noone blows the light at the intersection and T-bones me.

This lady behind me started honking her horn like crazy. Threw the car in neutral and set the e-brake, got out and walked to her car and montioned for her to roll the window down.

She cracked the windaw and said,m "What the phuck do you want?"

I politely told her, "Don't ever honk your phucking horn at me again.", and walked away back to the car.

By this time the light had turned green again and she had to wait for another cycle of the light. Man, that made my day.

Mind you this was long before any of this major "road rage" stuff started happening. Besides, I was a 16 year old kid you didn't care"

I have never had any major road rage stories. I usually control myself even when I have the right to be angry. I also never meet the people that honk alot. I guess I have just been lucky like that.

when ppl do that (also tailgaters) i just go nuts, i let them pass me then i follow them all the way home swerving in and out of traffic and scare the living s*** outta them,

ive thrown fingers at tons of people. theres one left turn by my house that has two turning lanes...and the street you turn into has two lanes...so its pretty obvious which lane youre supposed to turn into. well some people dont get it...ive almost gotten sideswiped numerous times. i usually pass em up with a finger. i usually give tailgaters a nice little brakecheck, or slow down to the posted speed limit. one of these days im gonna get myself into trouble.

Road rage sucks. Some people really need to get a better hold of their emotions or something. I have to admit that I've sorta taken it under my own control before. There's this one stretch of road near my place. Right next to a park so there's lots of people and kids on bikes, blading etc.

The speed limit is 60km/h but sometimes I'll see some yahoo just tearing up the road behind me in the rear-view...you know the type...cutting off everybody so they can move up in traffic. It's a two-lane road so what I'll do before he gets up to me is catch up to a slower driver and then slow to match their speed. That way when the guy catches up he has no choice but to slow down. If he really seemed like an ass, I'll speed up as if I'm going to get in front of the other guy beside me just so he'll switch lanes behind me....then I'll slow down so the other guy will start to pass me. Great fun!

Ever hear that awful story on the news about extreme road rage? This guy threw a bottle at a woman in her SUV for driving too slow, and it went trhought he windshield, hitting her little girl in a car seat. I do understand that people get mad, but thre's such a thing as self-control.

I live in L.A., where everyone is in such a rush to get somewhere, and most of the people around where I work have so much money that they don't care whether they hit other people's cars to get there. My boss's wife, for example, has hit so many of our employee's cars when she plows through the lot, and she doesn't even stop to write a note or take responsibility for it. People just figure it out when they discover their car has been smashed and she coincidentally has a damage to her car. They have to sue her to get their cars fixed, which causes tension with our boss! Then she goes and buys a new car instead of fixing the damaged one, even if it's repairable. They have so much money, it's disgusting. Right now she's driving a brand new Mercedes SL... We've got a bet running to see how long that lasts!

Ok I have one. One night I was on the way to work on 183 going east through Irving. I still had my Ford Focus then, so I wasn't very fast. I was going under the bridge to 161, and there was this white Cavaier in the far left lane, and a slow mofo in front of me. I see that I have ample space to get in front of the Cav, so I gun it. Needless to say, the asshole speeds up! I make it over in front of them anyway. This crazyass comences to pull over on the left shoulder, pulls besides me, and starts pushing me over! :mad: Luckily there were no cars in the lane to the right, so I get over before he could touch my ride. I pull up besides them, and before I could say anything, or do anything, both guys in the car give me the finger. WTF!!!??:mad: I give them the finger right back and say with force, "Phuck YOu!" I then thought to myself, If I had a gun...Then I reallized that my thoughts were getting way out of line, and I came back. Those phuckers could have killed me with that BS!
