I am going to consult with an attorney this week on some s*** with Mazda warranty dept not honoring certain claims.
Please reply with your problems you have experienced and what repairs you have had work denied by Mazda.
Need the problem and the reason why they denied it.
Also, the state, dealer you took your vehicle to, and the date month and year.
More information the better.
I strongly believe Mazda is denying a lot of MSP claims b/c of the specialty vehicle status and there are many problems with this vehicle that they dont want to cover to save their corporate ass & to save themselves $$$$$$!

I am with you 100% All i have on my car is an exhuast and a BOV. I have had probs with the brakes and suspension bushings since day 1. (before i started modding) even when my car was stock they refused me any repairs. I had to beg them to change the rear bushings (which now clunk again) even though it was a tsb. I have had more problems with this car that have nothing to do with the mods i have. they wont even look at my car. I started noticing a jitter and clunk in the steering wheel. And the rear bushings are shot again. I brought it in a week ago, and they refused to honor any repair. They wouldnt even look at it becuase it wasnt stock. BS. after 3 hours of arguiong i left with no repair. If you need more info PM, me and maybe we could contact on the phone or something and come up with a solution.

brakes, they have been warped almost since day one and since day one i got the run around. Wear item, characteristic of the car, high friction brake pads... i heard it all. After a while I said screw it, and now I'm getting custom brakes.

Hmm, where should I begin....
Wouldnt do anything about rust on rotors, wouldnt diagnose idle stutter cause of non-related aftermarket parts, went into glovebox without permission and found a uninstalled mbc which they used as a reason to deny all the work I had it in for that day, which included a saggy bumper and loud rear suspension. Wouldnt even look at my car for anything after this, told me to go deal with Mazda NA because it was their issue, then when I went to mazda NA they stated only dealerships could void a warranty, so I had to take it up with them. All this lying and bulls*** has just left me sour and not knowing what to do. I cant afford an attorney or anything to fight this warranty bulls*** and it sucks. This was all a couple months ago and I havent been back to a dealership since, my car just keeps getting worse.

theres a whole lot more I cant think of right now
good luck

^ PETER, i'll just copy what u said, cause that's exactly my situation.

Galpin Mazda. California.
THIS HAPPENED ON BOTH MSP's THAT I OWNED.
1st started @ 7,000 miles
noted by dealer @ 9,000 miles
got run arround untill 13,000 miles
then they said that it's over 12,000 miles and mazda wont cover it.

Tranny went, said it was blad tires(stockers which I used all through winter). They gave me s*** about replaced vaccum hoses. There might be more after monday when I go back. The dealer was Balise mazda in Westspringfield MA

I've had zero problems, except for brakes that are just now starting to act funny (I'm at 28k now), but I also make daily attempts to watch how I drive...try to be smooth, quick, careful, but just not beating on the car.

This is good keep it up.
Mine was the LSD at 12 k miles and now more problems with the gearbox ever since they did the work on it missing nut, bolts, screws, fasteners, wrong fastener in the wrong place, etc... According to Mazda and the dealer: "Gauges, bov, turbo timer are a lot of mods so it voids the warranty and means I obviously beat the living crud out of my car because those gave me a ton of more hp than stock."
Again pulling absurd excuses and failing to prove the correlation of how those mods create more hp and broke the LSD in half.

You guys just need to get off your asses and find a good dealer that will fix the problems. Everybody that I know with an MSP in town has mods. They all come to my dealership to have things repaired and have NO problems whatsoever. If you are willing to drive, I can have your LSD and whatever other problems you have repaired, and repaired correctly.

I understand that this is not a viable option for some of you, but anyone close to my zip code is more than willing to come in and have your warranty work done hassle free.

I currently have had 3 sets of bushings in the car, the rear stabilizer bar replaced, rusted rotors replaced and PCM reflashed.

I also had a problem with the vacuum line to the wastegate when I installed my boost controller. That was also repaired, free of charge, no questions asked.

If you would like to have your warranty work done by the largest privately owned dealership in the Midwest, stop by.

I work for the dealer and guarantee quality and ease of doing business.

I wish I could find a good dealership in my area. Mazda of Great Neck has horrible customer service and didn't appoligize for being careless with my car. Country Mazda didn't want to paint my rusted brake rotor hubs because the service advisor said it was a normal problem. In addition they claimed the flash didn't exist because it was not a recall. There's still one more dealership I can try but it's really out of my way. I'm getting to the point where I believe all dealerships are shady.

All dealerships suck - there are no exceptions to this rule.

The main warrenty problem I had was with coolant leaks -- Mazda eventually fixed it but they were a major PITA about it because they would not send the coolant hose I needed to my nearest Mazda dealer. The F-ers forced me to drive over 200 miles just for a F-ing coolant hose! BS.(chair)

So they fixed it, but they caused me unessesary grief in the process.

injen, no flash

due to my injen intake (which somewhat made the hesitation a tiny bit better) was the cause of my hesitation according to the dealership. therefore they could not reflash my ECU

tried to deny me warrenty work on my kenwood because of my guages and TT because i screwed with the electrical system. i told him i had an aftermarket sunroof put on by this very dealer covered with my factory warrenty, and they tapped an electrical connection, followed by a "now what are ya gonna say." he came back a few minutes later and said "he was just informing me about what a mazda rep would say if i continued to have similar problems."
