Replacing springs

I have a 03 Protege LX, the question i have is am i able to replace my factory springs with racing beat springs without replacing my struts?
Also, is that going to lower my overall ride height at all?

attempted to do a search and returned nothing related to my question...

Appreciate any help

Josh

It will lower your car, but not by much.

It is suggested you replace your struts, but it is not needed. Just plan on doing so somewhere in the future.

Ok, i'm not looking to lower it too much anyways... The struts are failry new OEM replacements, about 25k on them...
You will lower about 3/4 inch ,the struts will be fine . The handling will improve . Add a racing beat rear sway and the car will really hook up

as long as you really mean the "Racing Beat" springs, and not the "Mazdaspeed" springs - the "Mazdaspeed" springs will require the "Mazdaspeed" struts, the "Racing Beat" springs can be used with stock struts

Hey, I have MSP springs on stock struts and my car handles great!

EDIT-Just to be clear, that was total sarcasm.
