replacement calipers

I was looking for replacement calipers for my MSP and the parts store asked me "does you car have 'sport' or 'MPS2' suspension?" Aparently they have two part numbers for MSP calipers.

Any idea what they are talking about? How do I figure out which I have?

my guess is the sport is for the protege 5 and the mps2 is what you want. MPS stands for mazda performance series....which is all mazdaspeeds.

Holy s***!!! I just had to replace my front calipers and finding the part was impossible. Yeah, they asked if I had the "sport" package...so I said "yes," however, when I got them, they didn't fit. Then I special ordered I different ones, but no luck with those either. I ended up using the old brackets with new calipers from a different set.
