removing those damn dummy fog lights

would removing those would be fog lights help bring cooler air to my motor?
I noticed the airbox draws from right around there.

How do they come out?

If that's what you want to do...
Remove the front bumper and it's pretty straight forward from there.

I agree..The fog lights on the ms3 are lame.THey look like crap and dont work for s***.I really wish we had the round fog lights that come on the reguler 3.You have a good idea about removing them and maybe replacing them with something better or just leave it open.

Yeah, they are just the black caps, my thought was to try to get more cool air around where the airbox draws from. It's not going to make any real difference I know, but I can never leave well enough alone.

How did this go? I just bought a 2007 GS Sedan... I find they're rather ugly (the black caps)

dude, a lot of the regular 3s in 07 have the same style fog lights!
you think your s*** is bad? wait till you see the round ones on the 04-06s!

I personally like the angular speed3 foglights. They might not do s*** but I mean if you bought a GT you already have hids.. the foglights are there to just look pretty..

and they do that well

but I kinda want to make mine hids though

Hey... I finally got around to removing the fog light covers on my 2007 M3 GS... Not as hard as i would think.
